Faith • Excellence • Belonging

Building bright futures on a foundation of faith.

Benevolence Christian Academy is preparing for a planned Greenwood campus opening in 2027 as a Christ-centered educational community for children from infancy through 8th Grade, where every child has a place. We are beginning early hiring and family planning now. The exact opening date and first programs will be announced as staffing, facilities, licensing, and required approvals are secured.

Jesus is our foundation. Love is our mission. Every child has a place. To God be the glory.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1

Kaneshia Murray, Founder and Head of School of Benevolence Christian Academy

Meet Our Founder

Called to build a school where every child has a place.

Kaneshia Murray founded Benevolence Christian Academy from a deeply personal calling: to create a school where children are loved, protected, challenged, and seen as God’s workmanship.

As Founder and Head of School / Principal, she is leading BCA’s preparation with faith, clear accountability, family partnership, and a commitment to open each program only when it can be delivered safely and well.

“This is the Lord’s house. We will lead with love, serve with excellence, and make room for every child.”— Kaneshia Murray

Parent Questions

What families are asking.

Is BCA open now?

Not yet. BCA is opening in 2027 and beginning early hiring now. The building, final capacity, program approvals, staffing, and exact opening date must be confirmed before children attend.

Does the interest form guarantee my child a seat?

No. It helps BCA plan and begin a family conversation. Placement becomes official only through BCA’s written enrollment and seat-confirmation process.

Will BCA serve children with disabilities and special learning needs?

Yes. Every child has dignity and belongs. BCA will talk with each family about the child’s needs, reasonable supports, available staffing, and whether the school can safely deliver the requested services.

Will every Infant–8th Grade program open at the same time?

Not necessarily. Infant through 8th Grade is BCA’s complete vision. Opening grades and services will be confirmed in phases based on enrollment, staffing, funding, campus readiness, licensing, accreditation, and required approvals.

Will athletics begin immediately?

BCA plans to begin with physical education, clubs, and introductory athletic activities. Competitive teams will be added as qualified coaches, facilities, equipment, transportation, insurance, medical procedures, and sustainable funding are secured.

What happens after a 6:30 PM pickup?

Extended care is planned to close at 6:30 PM. Final hours and late-pickup procedures will be provided in the family handbook before participation.

Will transportation and meals be offered?

BCA is planning meals and limited, affordable transportation for eligible families. Routes, fees, availability, licensing, vehicles, staffing, and insurance must be finalized before service begins.
